The April meeting was our AGM. Before this there were lovely treats and coffee and we helped Frances to lay out her sparkling quilt blocks that she demoed last month.
There were announcements and the minutes from last year were read and approved. The Treasurer’s report was approved. New members were proposed and approved. There was applause for all the hard work of the committee and the fun time had at our Christmas meeting in December.
Once the AGM finished, we had a wonderful show and tell:
Finnoula’s Peter Rabbit quiltSheila’s Tumbling Blocks with stars
Tracy took the image from her larger quilt and made a miniature of it.
Stephanie’s bag
Mai and Anne showed quilts made with the same block and very different results!
