I would like to remind everyone that next month is our AGM and encourage members to consider joining the Committee. We need at least 3/4 more people to help keep the Committee running properly.

We had Mulled Wine ( non alcoholic of course!), loads of goodies as usual, door prizes and Lucky dip. A big thank you to all that provided the fantastic selection of food! One of these months I must take a picture of the goodies as I’m sure that’s half the reason for such good attendance!!
Patricia O Brien won the mini hamper for her Block of the Month entry. We had to use at least four of the blocks given by Mary Hynes and again a big thank you to her for her time and all her work put into the Demonstrations every Month.
Joanna Harrington did a Demonstration on Drunkards Path this Month and our shop was Patchwork Plus with Moya.
Ann Prendergast did a fantastic Quiz again this year which was won by Frances, Mary, Ann and Catherine, well done Ladies and hopefully we will see the results from the stash of material ye won!
I would like to thank everyone who gave so generously to our Charity tickets for Mary Mount, to the point that Mary Palmer sold all the raffle tickets on the morning. I hope we have a few winners, the draw is taking place at the Cork Craft and Design in Douglas Woollen Mills Thursday 14th at 6.30. All welcome.
I would like to thank all who helped out on the day and indeed the last few months from boiling the kettles, to stacking the chairs after the meeting and all in between! You don’t have to be on the committee to be appreciated and a big Thank you to everyone who turns up on the day as without you coming out and us enjoying your company there would be no meeting! Regards, Assumpta.
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and all the very best for 2018, May it be a happy and healthy year.
