The Southern Branch of the Irish Patchwork Society is an active group of quilters who meet on a monthly basis for talks, demonstrations, workshops and to socialise with like-minded quilters. During periods of social restrictions we meet virtually, members will be contacted by email…!
Contact us: corkips “at” gmail.com
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/southernbranchips/
Meetings take place (usually) on the second Saturday of each month (except July and August) in the hall of the Sacred Heart Church, Western Road, Cork from 10:00 to 12:30.
Fees at the door:
Members: €4
Non-members: €8 (please note: Non-members may attend two meetings as non-members, after that we ask you to take out annual membership)
Committee Members:
Frances McCarthy – Chair
Marie Sprott – Treasurer & Executive Representative
Sandra Jansen – Secretary/PRO & Memberships
Please approach a committee member if you’re interested in serving on the committee, or helping in any way! You may only serve two years at a time on the committee unless you are co-opted to serve as Chair for a third year. But helping out with small things (even when not on the committee) would be much appreciated!! Let us know if you are willing to lend a hand.
Just received my excellent newsletter. The southern branch played a blinder again. Thank you
